How does an safety circuit breaker work?

When a current is passed through a conductor, it generates a magnetic field. This magnetic field can interact with the magnetic field of another conductor nearby to produce a force that counteracts the current. This force is called electromotive force or EMF.

The safety circuit breaker works by counteracting the current flow and protecting the circuit if an overload or short circuit occurs. The safety circuit breaker consists of two parts: the sensor coil and the trigger coil. The sensor coil is wrapped around the conductor and detects the magnetic field generated by the current flowing through the conductor. When this field reaches a certain strength, it triggers the trigger coil, which produces a strong magnetic field that counteracts the current and triggers the breaker.

When overloaded, the current becomes larger, the calorific value intensifies, and the bimetal sheet deforms to a certain degree to move the mechanism for moving. The greater the current, the shorter the exposure time. The safety circuit breaker is an electronic type that uses a transformer to collect the current of each phase and compare it with the set value. If the current is abnormal, the microprocessor sends a signal so that the electronic trigger drives the actuation mechanism.
